Killala School of English, KSE, founded in 1982, is a specialist centre recognised by the Department of Education & Science, as an English Language School for the teaching of English as a foreign language.

KSE is situated on the scenic West Coast of Ireland and offers the student a chance to learn English in an intimate, relaxed setting, with tuition provided by skilled and experienced teachers.

We cater for both adult and younger students wishing to achieve a good level of understanding of the English Language. Mary Healy, founder and Co-director, believes that it is essential to receive top quality tuition and attention coupled with the added advantage of flexibility, which KSE tailors to meet the needs of the individual or group.

Killala and its surrounding area provides a scenic and spectacular base from which students can experience the warmth and friendliness of the Irish and to avail of the opportunity to practice what is learned in the classroom.
